Hosting questions
Do I need a separate hosting provider account?
No. You purchase hosting from Astra. Astra manages the infrastructure supplier and provides access to your own hosting control panel.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes. Hosting checkout accepts an existing domain. You keep its registration and connect the website DNS records after your hosting account is ready.
Are email, SSL and backups unlimited?
No. Each available package states its storage and mailbox limits, SSL coverage and backup policy. Website files, mail and databases share the account’s storage.
Can Astra migrate my site?
Open a hosting support request with the current site’s platform and size. We will confirm the migration scope before changing the site or its email routing. Do not include passwords in a support message.
Where do I buy custom development?
Astra Devs and Astra Web Dev offer development services through their separate websites. This website handles domains and conventional hosting.
