Checkout terms

These terms apply when an authorized account expressly accepts version domain-terms-v2 during live checkout.

Astra Devs Cloud is an Astra brand within Northstar Technology Holdings Inc. For purchases, the contracting seller is the operator identified in this notice and at checkout.

1. Agreement and operator

These terms are between you and Jeramy Ratelle, sole proprietor of North Star Holdings, operating as Astra Devs Cloud, at 3161 Diamondview Rd, Ottawa, Ontario. By checking the acceptance box and continuing to Stripe, you confirm that you are authorized to register the domain and agree to the version shown above.

2. Domain services

Registration covers available, standard, non-premium domains whose endings are available through the Namecheap API and whose registry requirements Astra supports. An order may contain up to four lines. The registration period and any IDN language selection are the ones displayed in the accepted quote. Manual renewals and eligible inbound transfers require their own quote and express payment. An inbound transfer remains pending until the registrar confirms completion, and may require an authorization code. Restorations, premium domains, endings with unimplemented registry requirements and email are excluded from domain registration.Automatic domain renewal is not available for public accounts until its acceptance checks are complete. Website hosting is unavailable unless an approved offer is shown at checkout with its recurring price and service terms. Registration is also subject to Namecheap, registry and ICANN rules.

3. Price, currency and tax

Checkout charges the locked quote in the customer currency selected before the quote is created. Currency conversion uses the latest available European Central Bank daily reference rate and the quote expires after five minutes. Your card issuer may charge additional conversion or other fees.No GST/HST is charged while the operator is an unregistered small supplier. Stripe provides the hosted payment invoice. 4. Payment, registration and refunds

Stripe collects payment first. Astra submits the domain only after a signed Stripe confirmation. Availability is not reserved until Namecheap confirms registration. After payment, fulfilment may begin immediately; a cancellation request is effective only if support confirms that registrar submission has not begun, in which case Astra initiates a refund for the unsubmitted domain line to the original payment method. Astra also initiates a refund for a domain line if its fulfilment cannot be completed; successful lines in the same order are retained. A refund remains pending until Stripe confirms it. Once Namecheap confirms registration, the domain charge is non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

5. Registrant information and ownership

You must provide complete and accurate registration contact details for the registrant and selected TLD, and keep them current. Stripe supplies the checkout contact to the registrar for fulfilment. You are the registrant and are responsible for lawful use, transfer eligibility and responding to registrar verification requests.

6. Renewal and expiry

Domains do not auto-renew. Astra records reminders before the recorded expiry date, and renewal requires a new quote and express payment. If you do not renew, registry grace, redemption and deletion rules apply; restoration may be unavailable or materially more expensive.

7. Acceptable use and fraud review

You may not use the service for unlawful activity, abuse, malware, phishing, spam, credential theft, unauthorized access or interference with others. Astra may pause unstarted fulfilment to review suspected fraud, sanctions, abuse, inaccurate contact details or a payment dispute.

8. Support and availability

Contact ratelle.ja@gmail.com or use an authenticated ticket. The support target is an initial response within two business days, best effort. No uptime SLA, service credits, guaranteed registry outcome or 24/7 response is included.

9. Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without an implied uptime or fitness guarantee. Neither party is liable for indirect, special or consequential loss. Astra's aggregate liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where a limit is prohibited by law or for fraud, wilful misconduct or obligations that cannot legally be limited.

10. Governing law and contact
