You don't need to move your domain to use our hosting. Choose “Use a domain I own” when adding a hosting plan, and enter the exact domain name. Once hosting is active, the website page in your dashboard shows the records to set.
Option A: change nameservers
Simplest if we should manage all DNS for the domain. At your current registrar, replace the nameservers with the two shown on your website page. Email and other records will need to be recreated with us first.
Option B: keep your DNS, add records
- 1Add an A record for the root (@) pointing at the address shown on your website page.
- 2Add a CNAME record for www pointing at your root domain.
- 3Leave existing MX and TXT records alone so email keeps working.
- 4Changes can take up to the record's TTL to be seen everywhere, often under an hour.
