- 1Unlock the domain at your current registrar (transfer lock off).
- 2Request the authorization code (sometimes called EPP or auth code).
- 3Make sure the registrant email is one you can read; you'll receive an approval email.
- 4Start the transfer from your dashboard and enter the code. Most transfers complete within five to seven days.
Domains registered or transferred in the last 60 days usually can't be transferred yet. Transfers typically add a year to the registration; the transfer price is shown on the pricing page.
